The OPTiSmart OPT-1200S splices diverse quartz optical fibers with a cladding diameter from 80um to 150um, including singlemode, multimode, non-zero dispersion, dispersion shifted and bend insensitive fibers. Primarily for permanent splicing of optical fibers, its widely used in fiber communication projects and production testing of passive optical devices.
